Bamboo shoot is one of Filipinos' typical ingredient on dishes. This dish is cooked with slices of pork with spices.

Bayan Kong Walang Kapantay
Ang pahinang ito ay inialay ko sa aking pinakamamahal na bayan: Pilipinas kong mahal. Nais kong ipakita sa buong mundo ang gandang taglay at mga bagay na kakaiba na sa Pilipinas lang matatagpuan. Nawa'y sa aking nais na ipamahagi ang bukod-tangi kong bayan, ito ay magbigay inspirasyon di lamang sa kapwa ko mga Pinoy kung hindi sa lahat ng sangkatauhan ng buong mundo. (English Translation) I dedicate this page to my dear country: Philippines my beloved. I want to exhibit to the world my country's unique beauty and the rare things that can only be found in the Philippines. Hopefully, this endeavor of mine in sharing my country's uniqueness will not only inspire my fellow Filipinos but as well as the entire human race all over the world.
